Youth Emporium's success in delivering services to our young people, will depend heavily upon funding from private individual donations, foundations, government grants or charitable gifts. The young people we serve have identified Youth Emporium as an opportunity to alter their life paths and achieve milestones in academic performance that will allow them to graduate from high school or acquire a GED, attend two or four year colleges, find meaningful employment opportunities, and become purposeful contributors to their communities.
In order to provide the services we offer, we need the help of committed partners who recognize the value of supporting our youth regardless of their economic backgrounds, ethnicity or religious beliefs. The diversity of our nation makes it incumbent upon those who can, to contribute whatever amount they can to help a young person develop into the type of adult that could possibly make a difference. The vast majority of our membership do not have the financial resources to afford the services we provide - that's where you come in.
We accept cash and in-kind contributions which can be mailed to us or paid online through our secured PayPal system. Cash gifts to Youth Emporium are tax-deductible, as provided by law. Each financial gift to Youth Emporium will go toward the support of its programming in offering a young person a second chance. You may make any type of donation you wish, up to and including, sponsoring a child's total annual participant cost, monthly membership dues, field trip underwriting, Youth Emporium's overall operations budget, or toward a special fundraising event. You will receive a printable receipt for your financial donation at the end of this transaction. If you would like to mail in your contribution, please make checks payable to Youth Emporium, Inc., Post Office Box 6665, Douglasville, GA 30154. You will receive a receipt in the mail so that you may take the appropriate tax deduction.
In-kind contributions are also welcomed as we have ongoing needs for printing, transportation support, hospitality, catering or construction improvement services. If you are interested in providing in-kind services, please call or email us and one of our staffers will respond promptly. The services we offer our young people require that we give them the best possible chance of succeeding. That service requires the use of furniture, equipment, and even clothing to insure our participants dress for success.
In whatever way you feel you can contribute we welcome and thank you for your support.
